MIDI file changes tempo (Logic)

If your tempo is changing when you import a MIDI file from the browser, you can change this setting in Logic here:

File > Project Settings > Smart Tempo > Project Tempo Mode -- Select 'Keep Project Tempo'

If this does not bypass the tempo changes, you may have previously selected the 'Do Not Ask Again' option at at an earlier time. Go to the following menu location:

Logic Pro > Settings > General

Navigate to the Notifications tab, and under the 'Also Import Tempo Information?', change this to No.
